Grambling State University Women’s Soccer ID Camp

The Grambling State University Women’s Soccer One Day ID Camp will be this summer at the Grambling State University Soccer Field. It is open to all 9th-grade and junior college transfers female soccer players. The camp’s objective is to refine the technical capabilities as well as the tactical awareness of the participants. The whole training program is going to be challenging but enjoyable. This training program will cover dribbling drills, passing, defending, and striking. It will also incorporate small-sided and full-sided games. Furthermore, the Grambling State University women’s soccer coaching staff will be facilitating this program.

Grambling State University, formerly Grambling College, is a public, coeducational university in Grambling, Louisiana. It is a member of the University of Louisiana System as well as the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. It has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Grambling State University consists of fours colleges namely, College of Art and Sciences, College of Business, College of Education, and College of Professional and Graduate Studies. Moreover, Grambling State University is 44th in Historically Black Colleges and Universities, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. In athletics, the university has 13 sports teams competing in the Southwestern Athletic Conference of NCAA Division I. They call themselves the Tigers and their official colors are black and gold.

Grambling State University Women’s Soccer One Day ID Camp Organizers

The head coach of Grambling State University women’soccer team is Justin Wagar. Coach Wagar is a Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and a Pacific West Conference Coach of the Year awardee. In addition, Coach Wagar has an impressive 111-84-17 coaching record. Then, the team’s assistant coaches are Alyssa Saucedo and Eric Hooper. Coach Alyssa Saucedo is a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Anthropology/Sociology graduate from New Mexico Highlands University. Meanwhile, Coach Eric Hooper is a former Army Ranger and retired police corporal. Finally, the team’s graduate assistant coach is Jazmyne Lewis.
