Long Island University Post Women’s Soccer Clinic

The Long Island University Post Women’s Soccer Clinic is on the 13th of August at the Pioneer Soccer Park in the Brookville, New York campus. This full-day soccer clinic is for girls who want to test and improve their technical and tactical soccer abilities in a challenging collegiate training environment. In addition, the event will provide an opportunity to play for the Long Island University Post women’s soccer team. This event as well emphasis on learning teamwork and physical and mental conditioning. It is a venue that can unlock a player’s full potential. Moreover, the program is set to start at 9:00 AM and end at 12 noon.

Long Island University Post is a private, coeducational, non-sectarian university in Brookville, New York. It is part of a Long Island University system has other campuses in Brentwood, Riverhead, Rockland, and Westchester. The university’s name is in honor of Charles William Post, a notable 19th century American Inventor. Furthermore, Long Island University Post is the largest member of the Long Island University system. It is currently serving around 5,200 undergraduate students and around 3,300 postgraduate students. This is with an acceptance rate of 81 percent and a 14:1 student to faculty ratio. Long Island University Post is offering more than 250 major academic programs. Additionally, it is 102nd in Regional Universities North, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. In athletics, the Post campus fields teams in the  Eastern College Athletic Conference, the East Coast Conference, and the Northeast-10 Conference. The athletes are competing as the Pioneers.

 

Long Island University Post Women’s Soccer Clinic Organizers

The Head Coach of Long Island University Post women’s soccer program is Mark Dawson. He is the 2008, the 2010, and the 2012 East Coast Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Dawson is also a 2-time NYCAC Coach of the Year awardee. He is at the same time a William Floyd School District Physical Education instructor. Then, the Post Pioneers women’s soccer Assistant Coaches are Joe Zydor, Billy Carroll, Kara Gazzano, Tom Williamson, Andreas Lindberg, and Katie LaManna.
