The University of St. Thomas Minnesota Tommies Men’s Soccer Summer ID Camp is especially for advanced field players and goalkeepers who aspire to play college soccer. The program gears at the overall skills development of the participants. It also provides a venue for the players to test and showcase their skills against top competition. In addition, this soccer identification camp will adopt the training routines of the Tommies men’s soccer team. It is a three-day event that will run from the 26th of June until the 28th of June. The head coach of the University of St. Thomas Minnesota Tommies men’s soccer team is Jon Lowery, a native of Apple Valley, Minnesota. He is now in his sixth season at the helm of the Tommies men’s soccer program. Coach Jon Lowery is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Ohio State University. Meanwhile, he completed his master’s degree in Sport Management at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He is also a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” coaching license holder. Coach Jon Lowery is now holding a career coaching win-loss record of 84-28-13. In the and 2016 season, Coach Jon Lowery led the Tommies to a MIAC regular-season and tournament titles. For his efforts, he was awarded the 2016 Division III National Coach of the Year. Consequently, his coaching staff also received the 2016 and Region Coaching Staff of the Year award. Coach Jon Lowery is also a former standout college and high school soccer player. As a matter of fact, he is the recipient of the 1994 Gatorade Minnesota High School Player of the Year Award. He is also a two-time first-team All-Big Ten selection during his college playing years.
