University of New England Nor’easters Women’s Soccer Overnight Camp

The University of New England Nor’easters Women’s Soccer Overnight Camp is inviting all girls who are serious about playing at the college level. This soccer overnight camp will run from the 3rd of August until the 5th of August. Its venue is the scenic University of New England campus which is in Biddeford, Maine. In addition, this soccer overnight camp will cover both technical and tactical skill development drills, competitive games and scrimmages, and performance evaluation. The camp is set to start at 1:30 PM on Day 1 and end at 12:00 PM on Day 3 . Furthermore, this three-day soccer training program will be under the supervision of the University of New England Nor’easters women’s soccer coaching staff. All the participants are requested to bring their own soccer gears and water bottle.

 

About the University of New England

 
The University of New England is a private, coeducational, non-profit university in Biddeford, Maine. It is founded as the College Séraphique in 1939. Now, the university comprises six colleges. Namely, they are the College of Arts and Sciences, the Westbrook College of Health Professions, the College of Osteopathic Medicine, the College of Dental Medicine, the College of Pharmacy, and the College of Graduate and Professional Studies. These teams are competing in the Commonwealth Coast Conference (CCC) of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. They are Nor’easters and their identity colors are blue and white.
 

University of New England Nor’easters Women’s Soccer Overnight Camp Organizers

The head coach of the University of New England Nor’easters women’s soccer team is Carly Gettler, a native of Richmond, Virginia. She is now in her second season at the reins of the Nor’easters women’s soccer program. Coach Carly Gettler is a bachelor’s degree in leadership studies graduate from the University of Richmond. Meanwhile, she completed her master’s degree in exercise and sport studies at Smith College. Coach Carly Gettler is also a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Premier Diploma holder. Prior to New England, Coach Carly Gettler was head coaching the Husson University women’s soccer team. Then, the Nor’easters women’s soccer assistant coaches are Meg O’Neil and Brielle Robinson. Coach Meg O’Neil is a bachelor’s degree in elementary education graduate from Husson University. She is now in her second season with the Nor’easters women’s soccer coaching staff. Similarly, Coach Brielle Robinson is also in her second season with the coaching staff. She is an alumna of the University of New England with a bachelor’s degree in marine science. Coach Robinson was a three-time all-New England performer during her college playing years for the Nor’easters.
