The University of Akron Zips Women’s Soccer Summer Elite ID Prospect Camp is a two-day event that will fall on the 28th of July and the 29th of July. It is set to start at 1:00 PM on Day 1 and end at 12:30 PM on Day 2. This soccer identification camp is open to all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12 who desire to play at the college level. Moreover, this soccer prospect camp will take place at Stile Athletics Field House, Lee Jackson Field, and Cub Cadet Field. These are all state of the art facilities in the University of Akron campus. In addition, the camp registration fee is $210 for residential campers and $170 for commuter campers.

The head coach of the University of Akron Zips women’s soccer team is Noreen Herlihy. She is now in her third season at the helm of the Zips women’s soccer program. Coach Noreen Herlihy is a bachelor’s degree in sports medicine graduate from Mercyhurst University. Meanwhile, she completed her master’s degree in sports administration at Slippery Rock University. She is also an associates degree in liberal arts graduate from Massasoit Community College. Ultimately, Coach Herlihy is a two-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awardee. She is also the 2003 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Regional Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Herlihy is an inductee into the 2011 Massasoit Hall of Fame. Then, the University of Akron Zips women’s soccer assistant coaches are Robert Battisson and Nicole Krueger. Coach Robert Battisson is now in his second season with the Zips coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in English graduate from Lock Haven University. Coach Battison is also completed his master’s degree in English at Northwestern Missouri State University. Furthermore, he earned his master’s degree in sports science and coaching and master’s degree in exercise physiology at the University of Akron. Finally, Coach Nicole Krueger is a University of Akron graduate with a degree in exercise science and a master’s degree in Exercise Physiology and Adult Fitness.
