Marshall University Thundering Herd Women’s Soccer ID Camp

Learn and play with the best at the Marshall University Thundering Herd Women’s Soccer ID Camp. It is a two-day program that will run from the 24th of August until the 25th of August. This soccer identification camp is going to take place at the state of the art Hoops Family Field which is on the Marshall University campus. In addition, this training camp is open to all high school female soccer players who are interested to become a part of the Thundering Herd college soccer team. The training program will cover both the offensive and defensive aspects of the game. There will also be a performance evaluation and assessment. Furthermore, the program is an opportunity to learn from the Herd’s soccer coaching staff.

Marshall University Thundering Herd Women’s Soccer ID Camp Organizers

Leading the Marshall University Thundering Herd women’s soccer team is Head Coach Kevin Long, a native of Springfield, Virginia. Coach Kevin Long is now in his 10th season at the helm of the Thundering Herd’s women’s soccer program. He is a bachelor’s degree in Health Education graduate from George Mason University. Meanwhile, he earned his master’s degree in Human Services Administration at Rider University. Ultimately, Coach Kevin Long is the 2015 Conference USA co-Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led the Thundering Herd to its winningest season in history. Coach Kevin Long is now holding an overall coaching career win-loss record of 135-163-42. Then, the Marshall University Thundering Herd women’s soccer assistant coaches are Erika Duncan and Glen Butler. Coach Erika Duncan is now in her fifth season with the coaching staff. She is a bachelor’s degree in exercise science graduate from Marshall University. She is also a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “D” coaching license holder. Finally, Coach Glen Butler is a bachelor’s degree in physical education and sport and exercise science graduate from Canterbury Christchurch University.
