The 2017 Bowling Green State University Spring ID Soccer Camp is on May 21, 2017. It is for 9th grade and older male soccer players. It is an opportunity to advance your overall soccer playing skills. The camp is specifically ideal for those who dream of playing at the collegiate level. It is also an opportunity to compete with other outstanding players. The camp will employ advanced training used by its varsity team. The Bowling Green men’s soccer coaching staff organizes this event. Other coaches from the Midwest will also attend and impart their knowledge. The camp will be in BGSU Men’s Soccer Training Facility besides Mickey Cochrane Stadium. This facility is one of the most advanced soccer facilities in the region. The camp will start at 1:00 PM and will end at 5:00 PM.
Bowling Green State University is a comprehensive public university. It has a Higher Learning Commission accreditation. And, a North Central Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation. It is offering more than 200 undergraduate degrees. Currently, its total student population is around 17,700. The university has 17 varsity teams. They call themselves the Falcons. The university’s identity colors are brown and orange. The teams are playing in the Mid-American Conference of NCAA Division 1. Its men’s soccer team has already 3 MAC Tournament titles. The team is also 2nd in the latest conference standings.

The head coach of the Falcons soccer team is Eric Nichols. He is entering his 9th season as the team’s head coach. He is a Mid-American Conference Coach of the Year awardee. An NSCAA/NAIA Midwest Region Coach of the Year awardee. An Ohio Collegiate Soccer Association (OCSA) Ohio Coach of the Year. And, a 3-time American Mideast Conference South Division Coach of the Year awardee. He is a .S. Soccer “A” License holder, too. The team’s assistant coaches are Eric Reed and Zach Mason.
