The 2017 Canisius College Men’s Soccer Elite Residential Camp is inviting all 14 to 18 years old passionate soccer players. It is a 3-day training program from July 21 to July 23, 2017. It is an ideal opportunity for players who wants to play at the college level to showcase their abilities. The camp will immerse the participants into a collegiate training and competition environment. The training sessions aim to develop the player’s technical skills as well as the player’s tactical understanding. There will also be competitive small sided and 11v11 matches. Overall, this event will be a challenging, motivating, and fun experience. It will take place on the Canisius College campus. The camp will accommodate both residential and commuter participants.
Canisius College is a private coeducational institution in Buffalo, New York. It is a member of the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities. Dermot McGrane is the Golden Griffins men’s soccer head coach since 2011. He is a 2-time MAAC Coach of the Year. Coach Dermot McGrane is a USSF “A” Licence holder and at the same time an NSCAA Advanced National Diploma holder. Then, the team’s assistant coaches are Regan Steele, Andrew Incho, and Jake Janicki. Finally, completing the coaching staff is Scott Godfrey, the team’s athletic performance coach.
