The 2017 Clayton State University Lakers Men’s Soccer Camp is a 5-day training program from June 19 to June 23, 2017. It is for both boys and girls, 6 to 17 years old. The training camp is ideal for players who aspires to play at the collegiate level. The sessions will emphasize on improving the technical skills as well as the tactical awareness of the participants. It will highlight on developing speed and decision making abilities. There will also be competitive small sided and full sided matches. In essence, the camp is going to be an encouraging and enjoyable experience. The facilitators of this training event are the Clayton State University men’s soccer coaching staff and its current players. It will take place at the Laker Field which is a top notch soccer facility. In addition, the program will accept half-day and full day campers.

Pete Petersen is the head coach of the Clayton State University men’s soccer since April of 2004. He is a 3-time Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year. Coach Pete Petersen is also the 2010 NSCAA Division II Southeast Region Coach of the Year. The team’s goalkeeper coach is Trent Orndorf. Richard Craven is the graduate assistant coach. Then, Byron Peters and Adam Halliday are the Lakers assistant coaches. Finally, Leigh Roach is the graduate assistant athletic trainer.
