The 2017 High Point University Women’s Soccer Academy Day Camp is a 4-day camp from July 24 to July 27, 2017. It invites all 7 to 12 years old soccer players. It is an opportunity to experience a challenging yet fun collegiate level training environment. The camp is intended for all skill levels. It aims to improve the campers technical abilities and tactical awareness. It will employ drills that will effectively develop the best soccer habits. Players will also experience playing in competitive small-sided games. The facilitators of this camp are the High Point University women’s soccer coaching staff. It will be in Vert Stadium inside the High Point University campus. Vert Stadium is a leading-edge training facility.
High Point University is a private university. It is a member of the International Association of Methodist-related Schools, Colleges, and Universities. It is 1st in the Regional Colleges South, 2017 edition of Best Colleges ranking. Likewise, it is also 1st in the Most Innovative Schools ranking. The university offers 47 undergraduate majors. Currently, it accommodates around 4,500 undergraduate students. High Point University has 16 varsity teams. They are participating in the Big South Conference of NCAA Division 1. Their nickname is Panthers. In addition, their identity colors are royal purple, silver, black, and white. It’s women’s soccer team have already 5 NCAA Tournament appearances. They have 1 Big South Conference Regular Season Championship. And, 5 Big South Conference Tournament Championships.
2017 High Point University Women’s Soccer Academy Day Camp Organizers
The head coach of the Panthers women’s soccer team is Marty Beall. He is the head coach since the 2009 season. Coach Marty Beall is a 2-time Big South Coach of the Year awardee. Also, he is a former head coach at Francis Marion. He is also a former head coach at Florence Soccer Association. As well as, a head coach at South Carolina. Coach Beall is a USSF “B” license holder, too. The Panthers associate head coach is Brandi Fontaine. Then, the assistant is Kelly Grant. Gregg Weigel is the goalkeeper trainer. While Ally Connally is the athletic trainer. Finally, Curry Williams is the assistant strength and conditioning coach.
