2017 St. Martin’s University Women’s Soccer Summer ID Camp

The 2017 St. Martin’s University Women’s Soccer Summer ID Camp is on July 21, 2017. The camp is inviting excellent female soccer players, 14 years old and older. The camp will give priority to individual player’s development and sense for teamwork. This is a venue for players who wants to play at the collegiate level. Campers will receive the first-hand experience on what it is to train and play like a St. Martin’s University varsity player. The university women’s soccer coaching staff will oversee all the training sessions. The event will take place at the state of the art St. Martin’s University Soccer Field. It is set to start at 10:00 AM and end at 6:00 PM.

St. Martin’s University is a private Catholic university in  Lacey, Washington. It is an affiliation of the  Independent Colleges of Washington. Likewise, it is also a member of the Association of Colleges’ Association of Higher Education. The university has an accreditation from the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities. The university is 40th in the Regional Universities West, 2017 rankings. In addition, it is also 7th in the Best Value Schools rankings. Currently, the university accommodates around 1,400 students. The student to faculty ratio is 11 is to 1. St. Martin’s University supports 13 intercollegiate sports teams. They are competing in the Great Northwest Athletic Conference of NCAA Division 2. Their nickname is Saints. Red and black are the university colors.

 

2017 St. Martin’s University Women’s Soccer Summer ID Camp Organizers

The St. Martin’s University women’s soccer as well as the men’s soccer head coach is Rob Walker. He is at the helm of the coaching staff since 2006. Coach Walker is the men’s 2009 GNAC Coach of the Year. At the same time, he is also the women’s soccer GNAC Co-Coach of the Year. Also, Coach Walker is a former member of the US Soccer National Goalkeeping Coaching Staff. The team’s assistant coaches are Bre Giove, Brandon Scott, and Matt Dorman. Coach Bre Giove is a US Soccer “B” National Coaching license holder. Then, Coach Scott is aUSSD ‘D’ License holder. Finally, Coach Dorman holds a UEFA ‘B’ License together with an NSCAA Premier Diploma and USSF ‘D’ License.
