The 2017 University of California Riverside Women’s Soccer ID Camp is a whole day event on June 25, 2017. It is an event where players will improve their soccer skills while having fun. It will focus on the technical and tactical development of the participants. After training sessions, competitive games will follow. The training program will emphasize respect, teamwork, and hard work. This summer camp aims to assess and correct individual strengths and weaknesses. There will also be drills that will focus on improving goalkeeper’s abilities. During the camp, participants will also get to know the current varsity players. Registration includes a summer camp t-shirt. The organizers of this event are the UC Riverside Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff.

It is 118th in the U.S. News and World Report ranking. Also, it is 62nd in Graduate School of Education. Currently, it accommodates around 18,600 undergraduate students. At the moment, the University of California Riverside has 17 athletic teams. Its athletes are known as the Highlanders. Its colors are sky blue and gold. This is because of the high altitude location of its campus. The university has already 5 team National Championships. Its teams are competing in NCAA Division I, Big West Conference. The University of California Riverside women’s soccer team is currently ranking at number 8 in the conference.
2017 University of California Riverside Women’s Soccer Elite ID Camp Organizers
Nat Gonzalez is the university women’s soccer team head coach. He is leading the Highlanders coaching staff since 2011. Since then, the Highlanders are already playing winning seasons. In addition, he is the 2013 Big West Coach of the Year awardee. In 2009, he led the San Diego State University women’s soccer team to a 2nd round NCAA Tournament finish. Also winning the 2009 MWC Tournament championship that same year. Assistant Coaches Keishawn Cordier and Sarah Devine completes the coaching staff.
