The Benedictine College Men’s Soccer Summer Prospect Camp is open to both male and female high school aged soccer players. It will be on July 29, 2017. The camp is ideal for those who wants to improve their skills and knowledge of the game. The camp aims to provide personal instructions to match the camper’s skill level. It is also a great starting point for players who desires to play at the collegiate level. The Benedictine College men’s soccer coaching staff, as well as its current players, will oversee the training sessions. It will start at 9:00 AM and end at 4:00 PM. It will take place at the Benedictine College campus.
Benedictine College is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Atchison, Kansas. It is under the sponsorship of St. Benedict’s Abbey and Mount St. Scholastica Monastery. It is also a member of the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities. Furthermore, the university is 14th in the Regional Colleges Midwest, 2017 rankings. Miguel Rodrigues is the Benedictine College men’s soccer head coach since March 2016. He is a former Niagara University assistant coach. During his playing years, Coach Rodrigues is the captain of the Academic All-America selection. Coach Rodrigues is a USSF “B” Coaching License and at the same time an NSCAA Premier Diploma holder. The Ravens assistant coach is John Sosa. Coach John Sosa as a soccer player is a former 3-time All-Summit League awardee. Then, he is also a 4-time All-Summit League Academic awardee.
