Bobby Muuss Soccer Camp Academy

Bobby Muuss Soccer Camp Academy designed for high school boys (must be enrolling in HS in the Fall). This camp is residential.

In this camp players and coaches alike and have designed a camp specific to the needs of the college-bound elite level soccer player. This three days intense training camp is held to maximize player development and teach the game the right way. Residential campers participate in 2-3 training sessions per day.  Morning sessions consist of technical training; afternoon sessions cover the tactical aspects of the game and incorporate small-sided competitions.  The day concludes with an evening session of 11 v 11 competitive matches.  Goalkeepers will be coached by Dane Brenner.
Days are spent on the field in training and game situations; evenings and downtime will be used to inform the players about the college process and what it takes to reach the next level.

Wake Forest University, founded in 1834, is a distinguished institution of higher education located in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. It comprises of an undergraduate college, a graduate school of arts and sciences, and several professional schools to include the School of Law, Wake Forest University School of Medicine, the Divinity School, and Babcock Graduate School of Management. Reynolda campus is situated on 340 acres, which also includes Reynolda Gardens and Reynolda Village for shopping, restaurants, and other services. About a mile from the campus is the acclaimed  Graylyn International Conference Center, a 55-acre estate owned by the university. For activities on and off campus, Wake Forest University has an active student union which organizes campus activities to include concerts, Tuesday trivia, movie nights and weekend outings. In addition there are a variety of sports activities to include tennis, swimming, miles of jogging trails, and two state-of-the-art exercise centers. For spectators, Wake Forest plays a full schedule of Atlantic Coast Conference sports and both JD and LL.

Bobby Muuss
Head Coach

Coach Muuss comes to Wake Forest after spending eight seasons as the Head Coach at the University of Denver. Coach Muuss helped lead the Wake Forest program from 2001 – 2007 as the recruiting coordinator and assistant coach. While at Denver, Coach Muuss won 4 conference titles and made it to 4 NCAA Tournament Appearances- all Denver firsts. He was named the Summit League Coach of the Year in 2013 after leading the program to a 13-3-4 record overall and a perfect 6-0 mark in conference play. Known for his eye for talent and developing players-Coach Muuss looks forward to building a successful camp program in 2016.

Dane Brenner
Goalkeeper Coach

Coach Brenner was a 4 year starting goalkeeper at the University of South Florida. A standout collegiate goalkeeper, Dane was an All-Conference USA Goalkeeper in 2004 and led his team to a Big East Conference Championship in 2005. After his collegiate career, Coach Brenner spent time with the Chicago Fire of the MLS and then went on to work as a Volunteer Assistant Coach at the University of Connecticut for 4 seasons.

Goal for the camp is simple: to gather top players and put them in a training environment where they will be pushed and forced to improve under collegiate based coaching.
