Brown University Summer Sports Camps Prospect Clinic

Brown University Summer Sports Camps and Clinic is 1-day camps targeted towards young female players between 9th -12th grade graduates who have ambitions about playing soccer on the next level. The camp will take place at the Wendell R. Erickson Athletic Complex.

Brown University is the 7th oldest University in the country, with a wide range of study options in this Ivy League institution, which include undergraduate and graduate programs, the Alpert Medical School, School of Public Health, School of Engineering, and the School of Professional Studies. Brown is also one of the leading research universities with a focus on maintaining its talented and motivated faculty and exceptional undergraduate instruction. They have 70 undergraduate programs which give you the opportunity to pursue the career you’re dreaming about. Brown University has the nation’s 1st largest collegiate athletic program for women, with 20 different team sports and 900 athletes spread out on them. The athletes don’t only perform well on the field, but also on their academical achievements, in 2012 the NCAA honored 20 Brown teams with awards for academic achievement.

The Brown University Summer Sports Camps staff consist of experienced coaches from Brown Women’s Soccer Coaching Staff. Head Coach Kia McNeil started her career as Head Coach for Brown Women’s Soccer team with an impressive accomplishment, by leading the Bears to their highest finish in the league standings since 1994 in her inaugural season. She led Brown to a second-place finish in the Ivy League standings in 2016, marking its highest finish in the league table since winning the conference title in 1994. The team ended the season with its highest winning percentages both overall.

The camp is designed to test and challenge top-level players, so that they get the perfect environment to compete and showcase their skills. The camp will give you the opportunity to experience an Ivy League Campus and show your skills to the experienced college coaches. The training will be focusing on multidimensional drills, passing patterns, and competitive small-sided and full-sided games in a highly competitive environment. Players attending this camp is expected to be serious about their ambitions to play high-level soccer and be in good physical condition when the camp starts. The camp will be a challenging and fun insight experience in what it takes to play at the top level of collegiate soccer.

At Brown University Summer Sports Camps you will get the opportunity to talk with current and former BWS players, who can give you insight into the student-athlete life on the campus and give you an understanding of what the collegiate soccer life is all about.

Division 1, 2 and 3 schools will attend the camp to coach and evaluate.
