Brown University Summer Sport Camps and Clinic

Brown University Summer Sports Camps and Clinic is 1-3 day camps targeted towards young male players between 10th -12th grade and graduates for the Elite 125 Residential Camps, while the One Day Clinic accepts young male players between 9th -12th grade. The camp will take place at the Wendell R. Erickson Athletic Complex.

Brown University is the 7th oldest University in the country, with a wide range of study options in this Ivy League institution, which include undergraduate and graduate programs, the Alpert Medical School, School of Public Health, School of Engineering, and the School of Professional Studies. Brown is also one of the leading research universities with the focus on maintaining its talented and motivated faculty and exceptional undergraduate instruction. They have 70 undergraduate programs which give you the opportunity to pursue the career you’re dreaming about. Brown University has the nation’s 4th largest collegiate athletic program, with 37 different team sports and 900 athletes spread out on them. The athletes don’t only perform well on the field, but also on their academical achievements, in 2012 the NCAA honored 20 Brown teams with awards for academic achievement.

The camp staff consists of experienced coaches from some of the top college programs. Previous camps have had coaches attending from Brown University, Holy Cross, Bowdoin, Colby, Connecticut College, Hobart, Maine Maritime Academy, Manhattanville, Tufts, and Wesleyan. Head Coach Patrick Laughlin will be in charge of the camps, he has during his career helped the Bears to several NCAA tournament appearances, capturing the Ivy title and helped seven Bears earn All-Ivy recognition, three were Division I NEISL All-Stars, four received All-Northeast Region honors, and one was invited to the MLS Player Combine.

The camp is designed to test and challenge top-level players, so that they get the perfect environment to compete and showcase their skills. The camp will give you the opportunity to experience an Ivy League Campus and show your skills to the experienced college coaches. The training will be focusing on full-sided games in a highly competitive environment. Players attending this camp is expected to be serious about their ambitions to play at this level of soccer and be in good physical condition when the camp starts. The camp will be a challenging insight experience in what it takes to play at the top level of collegiate soccer.
