Columbus State University Women’s Soccer College ID Camp

The Columbus State University Women’s Soccer College ID Camp is a 3-day event from June 23 to June 25, . It invites female soccer players, 14 to 18 years old. This camp is ideal for those who intends to play at the collegiate level. It is an exceptional preparatory program that develops both the technical and tactical abilities of the participants. In addition, this event is an opportunity to experience a high-level collegiate training environment and competition. Players will also be able to enjoy competitive small sided and 11v11 matches. Best of all, it is an opportunity to gain recognition and join the Columbia State University women’s soccer team. This training program accepts both residential and commuter registrations.

Columbus State University is a public coeducational university in Columbus, Georgia. The university has an accreditation from the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Furthermore, it is 105th in the Regional Universities South, edition of Best Colleges rankings. Columbus State University is also 46th in the Top Public Schools rankings and 372nd in the Business Programs rankings. Currently, it accommodates around 8,300 undergraduate and graduate students. The student to faculty ratio is 18:1. Columbus State University sponsors 16 intercollegiate sports teams. These teams are competing in the Peach Belt Conference of NCAA Division 2. They call themselves the Cougars. Blue and red are their identity colors. The Columbus State Cougars women’s soccer has already 7 Peach Belt Conference Tournament Championships. The team has also 11 NCAA Tournament appearances.

 

Columbus State University Women’s Soccer College ID Camp Facilitators

Jay Entlich is the Columbus State University women’s soccer head coach since 2004. He is the 2005 as well as the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Southeast Region Coach of the Year. Coach Jay Entlich is also the 2005, 2008, 2014, and 2015 Peach Belt Conference Coach of the Year. Then, the Columbus State women’s soccer assistant coach is Nick Zimmerman. Finally, the team’s graduate assistant coach is Alexa Gaul.
