The Men’s Soccer team of the Dallas Baptist University is holding a 2-day ID Camp from July 21 to July 22. The camp is open to all boys – from high school through college incoming freshmen. The professional coaching staff of Dallas Baptist University, as well as the team members, will run the overnight camp themselves. Expect mentoring at its finest, from tactical sessions to individual and team training. Furthermore, there will be lots of games wherein participants can showcase and polish their skills. There will also be a specific goalkeeper training from DBU’s Goalkeeper coach.
Dallas Baptist University, founded in 1898 as Decatur Baptist College, is the first junior college in Texas. However, the college status has moved from junior to senior since 1968 and officially became Dallas Baptist University. It is a private, Christian liberal arts university located in Dallas, Texas. Dallas Baptist University Patriots Men’s Soccer ID Camp Organizers
Leading the university men’s Soccer team as head coach is Chip Dutchik with his 13 years of college coaching experience. In fact, he already has a commendable first season at Dallas Baptist University. Coach Chip is already in his 2nd season as the Patriots head coach. At the helm for the Patriots, he has taken them to the NCCAA Central Regional title and a trip to the NCCAA National Tournament in Kissimmee, Florida. In addition, Coach Dutchik is a former soccer standout. He is the 2002 Player of the Year awardee. Then, assisting Coach Dutchik is graduate student John Kody Dale.
