Drexel University Women’s Soccer Summer Camp

The Drexel University Women’s Soccer Summer Camp is a full-day training program on the 30th of July. It is inviting all female soccer players in grade 8 up to grade 12. The camp’s design is essentially for those who want to compete in the collegiate soccer arena. It includes technical and tactical sessions with competitive 5v5 and 11v11 matches. Furthermore, this event is an opportunity to train under the supervision of an elite college soccer coaching staff and role model players. In addition, the event will take place on the artificial turf field, Vidas Athletic Complex, in Drexel University campus. This event is open to both field players and goalkeepers. Registration includes a free Drexel camp t-shirt.

Drexel University is private, non-profit, coeducational university in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The university is an affiliation of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. It is also a member of the Association of Independent Technological Universities. The university is 94th in the National Universities, 2018 edition of Best Colleges’ ranking. In athletics, Drexel University has 18 intercollegiate sports teams. They are competing in the Colonial Athletic Association of NCAA Division I. Drexel University Women’s Soccer Summer Camp Facilitators

Ray Goon is the Head Coach of the Drexel University women’s soccer program since its inception in June 1996. Coach Ray Goon is a 2-time Colonial Athletic Association Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the recipient of the 1995 NYCAC Coach of the Year, NSCAA Division II Regional Coach of the Year, and Philadelphia Oldtimers Association Coach of the Year awards. Then, the Dragons women’s soccer Assistant Coaches are Don Overmier and Maria Dorris. And finally, completing the coaching staff is Chris Cattaneo, the Volunteer Assistant Coach.
