Florida Southern College Women’s Soccer Elite ID Camp

The Florida Southern College Women’s Soccer Elite ID Camp is an experience that will motivate participants to excel not just in soccer but also in their own fields of interest. It is a 2-day training program from June 21 to June 22. It will provide an extraordinary soccer training experience for those who dream to play at the collegiate level. The camp is a combination of drills, competitive games, and campus tour. It also aims at developing the participant decision-making abilities. In addition, players will get the opportunity to train under the supervision of an elite college soccer coaching staff. Players will also receive helpful assessment at the conclusion of the program.

Florida Southern College, or commonly just Florida Southern, is a private, coeducational college in Lakeland, Florida. It is the oldest college in the state of Florida. It is an affiliation of the United Methodist Church. The college is home to Frank Lloyd Wright Architecture collections which is a National Historic Landmark. Furthermore, Florida Southern College is an academic institution of excellence. As a matter of fact, it is 19th in the Regional Universities South, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. The college is also 24th in the Best Value Schools rankings. Its current student population is around 2,500. The acceptance rate is 46 percent while the student to faculty ratio is 15:1. Florida Southern College fields 23 intercollegiate sports teams in the Sunshine State Conference of NCAA Division II. The athletes’ nickname is Moccasins. Paul Lawrence is the new Moccasins women’s soccer head coach. He is the former Knox College women’s soccer head coach. Coach Paul Lawrence is also the former Northwood University assistant coach. Moreover, Coach Lawrence is a USSF and English FA coaching license holder. Then, the Florida Southern women’s soccer assistant coaches are Ian Brophy and Ria Popovic. And finally, the volunteer assistant coach is Amanda Carr.
