Furman University Paladins Women’s Soccer Fall ID Camp

The Furman University Paladins Women’s Soccer Fall ID Camp is for all girls in grade 9 up to grade 12. This ID camp will be on the 19th of November at the Eugene Stone III Soccer Stadium in Furman University campus. In essence, the training program will be competitive and fun. It will also provide an opportunity for players to learn high-level skills and tactics under the supervision of an elite coaching staff. In addition, the training program aims at building positive players habits. The program will start at 9:30 AM and end at 3:30 PM. Every registration includes a free Nike camp t-shirt and lunch.

Furman University is a private university in Greenville, South Carolina. It is the oldest learning institution in the state. Its name is in honor for Richard Furman, a Baptist Church Pastor. The university is an affiliation of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities. It is 53rd in the National Liberal Arts Colleges, edition of Best Colleges rankings. Currently, the university accommodates around 2,700 undergraduate students. It also has 20 intercollegiate teams. They call themselves the Paladins. And, they are competing in the Southern Conference of NCAA Division 1. Purple and white are the university’s identity colors. Furthermore, the Paladins’ soccer program has already 7 Southern Conference Regular Season Championships, 5 Southern Conference Tournament Championships, and 5 NCAA Tournament Appearances.

 

Furman University Paladins Women’s Soccer Fall ID Camp Organizers

The Furman University women’s soccer team head coach since December 2004 is Andrew Burr, a native of Atlanta, Georgia. Under his guidance, the women’s soccer team has already 3 Southern Conference titles and 3 NCAA Tournament appearances. Coach Andrew Burr is the 2013 Southern Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Moreover, Coach Burr is a former soccer players standout. He is the Paladin’s all-time leaders in goals. He is also a Furman University Athletic Hall-of-Fame inductee. Then, the women’s soccer associate head coach is April Raymer. Rose Hull is the team’s assistant coach. And finally, Christi Sherman is the department assistant.
