Future 500 Girls ID Soccer Camps are 4-day summer camps targeted towards girls between 14-19 years old who wants to improve their game and be seen by some NCAA college coaches. The camps are taking place at Eastern University’s campus and generally focus on giving exposure to players in the east coast. The program is organized by Eastern University and Cabrini and is a dorm-based residential camp organized by T3 sports (and former coaches at Eastern/Cabrini).
Eastern University is a private Christian university located in St. Davids, a suburb of Philadelphia. Students and alumni of Eastern are impacting over 80 countries in areas like business, education, counseling, healthcare, non-profit organizations, ministries, and many other industries. Previous Eastern students have been inspired to action through the passion for influencing the world and making an impact, which has made them become world leaders: mayors, presidential task force members, university presidents, pastors, principals, CFOs of national sports organizations, CEOs, entrepreneurs, change agents and youth leaders. Eastern University is a place that gives you room to develop, not only academically but also athletically. The athletic program is aiming to provide an environment where student-athletes will get opportunities for competition and development in multiple sports.
The camp staff consists of experienced coaches from a variety of different colleges around the country and representing a variety of NCAA colleges at each camp. The 500-600 participating players are chaperoned by local high school and club coaches.
Future 500 ID Soccer Camps give their campers the opportunity to get training and evaluation from college coaches in the NCAA tournament. With a 7:1 player-coach ratio the campers will get access to most of the college coaches at camp. The event is organized partially like a tournament where coaches are stationed around the field observing players. Staff coaches (HS, Clubs) will assist each camper with everything from understanding daily schedules, to navigating campus and college-related questions. Athletes get the chance to get opportunities and build relationships with college coaches and players in small group sessions. Campers learn tactics, techniques, and implementations of gameplay from a new coach every one of the 11 v 11 matches, so that the campers can learn from different college coaches.
