The Grand Canyon University Soccer Academy is accepting players of all levels who have a desire to improve and develop their talents for their GCU soccer camps.

The Head Coach of the Camp, Schellas Hyndman is the Head Soccer Coach of the Grand Canyon University. He is the 2010 MLS coach of the year and the 5th Winningest coach in NCAA history. Hyndman brings with him extensive head coaching experience, including 31 years of collegiate experience — 24 years at Southern Methodist and the remaining seasons at Eastern Illinois. Hyndman has compiled a record of 466-122-49 entering the 2015 campaign, which marks the 12th-highest winning percentage in Division I men’s soccer (.770).
Grand Canyon University Sports Camps provide opportunities for athletes of all ages to develop their skills in a fun, sportsmanlike environment. In addition to fundamental instruction, campers will be exposed to sport specific strategies and will have the chance to meet new people. Their goal as a Department is to offer sports camps that challenge athletes and promote individual improvement that will eventually lead to athletic success.
The GCU College Prep camp will provide the player unique insight into the recruiting process, what coaches look for in recruitable players and a glimpse into the day to day life of a college soccer athlete.
The campers will be placed in small groups, according to age and ability, to allow for more individualized attention from some of GCU’s finest collegiate soccer players and staff.
