Hartwick College Hawks Women’s Soccer August Clinic

The Hartwick College Hawks Women’s Soccer August Clinic is open for all girls 15 to 19 years old. It is a high-level developmental soccer training program. Its objective is to give training instructions and sessions to refine technical and tactical capabilities. Also, it will provide a valuable evaluation and assessment to each of the campers. This training program will introduce the participant on what an elite-level student-athlete life is all about. In general, the day will be a challenging but fun training atmosphere. This 4-hour soccer clinic will be on the 12th of August at the Wright Field in Hartwick College campus. Furthermore, the event is under the supervision of the Hartwick College women’s soccer coaching staff.

Hartwick College is a private, coeducational, non-denominational, liberal arts college in Oneonta, New York. Its founder is John Christopher Hartwick, a notable American Lutheran minister. The college’s current president is Dr. Margaret L. Drugovich. Hartwick College has accreditation from the Middle States Commission on Higher Education and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Moreover, the college is 165th in the National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is currently accommodating around 1,600 undergraduate students. This is through an acceptance rate of 94 percent. Correspondingly, the college’s student to faculty ratio is 10:1. In athletics, Hartwick College fields collegiate sports teams in the Empire 8 Conference of NCAA Division III. In addition, its women’s water polo team is competing in the Collegiate Water Polo Association of NCAA Division I. And, its men’s soccer team is participating in the Sun Belt Conference of NCAA Division I.

 

Hartwick College Hawks Women’s Soccer August Clinic Organizers

The Hartwick College women’s soccer head coach is Brian Knapp, the team’s former assistant coach. He is also the former Buffalo State assistant coach. Coach Brian Knapp is a United States Soccer Federation E Coaching License holder. Then, the Hawks’ women’s soccer assistant coach is Jocelyn Ortega. Coach Ortega is a Cum Laude graduate of Southern Vermont College. Finally, completing the coaching staff are volunteer assistant coaches Mike Murphy and Avery Proctor.
