Hobart and William Smith Colleges Statesmen Soccer ID Prospect Camp

The Hobart and William Smith Colleges Statesmen Soccer ID Prospect Camp will run from 9 o’clock in the morning until 3 o’clock in the afternoon on the 28th of July. The identification camp is open to all high school boys in grade 9 up to grade 12 who desire to take their game to the college level. It will be under the supervision of the Hobart Statesmen soccer coaching staff. Moreover, this soccer identification camp is a venue to display exceptional soccer skills in front of college’s recruiting staff. It is going to take place at the top-notch Boswell Field which is on the Hobart and William Smith Colleges campus. In addition, the camp registration fee is $125 per participant. This registration fee includes lunch and a free camp t-shirt.

These teams are competing mainly in the Liberty League of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III. They are the Hobart Statesmen and William Smith Herons. The Statemen’s identity colors are orange and royal purple while the Herons’ identity colors are emerald green and white.

 

Hobart and William Smith Colleges Statesmen Soccer ID Prospect Camp Organizers

The head coach of the Hobart Statesmen soccer team is Shawn Griffin from Canandaigua, New York. He is now in his 19th year at the reins of the Statesmen soccer program. Coach Shawn Griffin is an alumnus of Plymouth State University. Ultimately, he is the 2008 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Northeast Region Coach of the Year. He is also a three-time Liberty League Coach of the Year and a four-time Little East Conference Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Griffin led the Statesmen to three Liberty League regular-season titles and two Liberty League Tournament titles. He is now holding an overall coaching win-loss record of 287-155-48. Then, the Hobart Statesmen soccer assistant coaches are Andrew Bednarsky and Danny Gilbertson. Coach Andrew Bednarsky is now entering his second season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in psychology graduate from St. Lawrence University. Coach Bednarsky is the 2013 Liberty League Player of the Year awardee. Meanwhile, Coach Danny Gilbertson is the newest addition to the Statesmen soccer coaching staff. Finally, the Mikey DiBenedetto is the team manager.
