The Illinois College Blueboys Men’s Soccer One Day ID Camp is inviting all 9th to 12th-grade boys with an aspiration to play at the college level. It is a 7-hour identification soccer camp that includes a campus tour and a free lunch. It will take place at the state-of-the-art England Stadium in Illinois College campus. Moreover, the objective of this event is to provide the participants a venue to showcase their skills and be a part of the Illinois College men’s soccer team. It will also provide the players an exposure to a high-level collegiate training and competition. In addition, this program will be run by the professional men’s soccer coaching staff of the Illinois College.
Illinois College is a private, coeducation, liberal arts college in Jacksonville, Illinois. It is the second oldest college in the state of Illinois. The institution is an affiliation of the United Church of Christ and the Presbyterian Church. It is using a semester-based academic calendar. Currently, Illinois College is serving around 1,000 students with a 47 percent male and 53 percent female gender distribution. Kurt Albrecht is the Head Coach of the Illinois College men’s soccer program. The season will be his 3rd year at the helm of the coaching staff. He is the former Head Coach of professional women’s soccer team, Palm City FC. Then, the Blueboys Assistant Coach is Nathan Kogut. He is at the same time the Director of Intramurals. Finally, Alan Shawgo is the Student Manager.
