The Knox College Prairie Fire Men’s Soccer Elite Prospect Clinic is especially for boys in the graduating classes of 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022 who are aspiring to become a college soccer student-athlete. It is a two-day high-level soccer training program that will fall on the 5th of August and the 6th of August. This soccer prospect camp is going to take place at the scenic Knox College campus in Galesburg, Illinois. In addition, this soccer camp is going to provide the participants a feel on how it is like to train and play in the college level. The participants are requested to bring their own cleats, water bottle, sunscreen, and sneakers. The camp registration fee which includes meals is $100 per player. Overall, it will be a motivational and enjoyable experience.

The head coach of the Knox College Prairie Fire men’s soccer team is Brian O’Connor, a native of Pleasant Plains, Illinois. Coach Brian O’Connor is entering his first season at the helm of the Prairie Fire men’s soccer program. He is a bachelor’s degree in Communications and History graduate from Illinois College. Meanwhile, he is now completing his master’s degree in Athletic Administration at Knox College. Coach Brian O’Connor is also a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Diploma holder. Prior to the head coaching role, Coach O’Connor was the Prairie Fire’s assistant coach for three years. He also has an assistant coaching stint at Illinois College. Additionally, Coach Brian O’Connor is a former college soccer standout. In fact, he was an All-Midwest Conference selection during his college playing years. Then, the Knox College Prairie Fire men’s soccer volunteer assistant coach is Lucas Sanchez. Coach Sanchez is also entering his first season with the coaching staff. He is a Knox College alumnus with a bachelor’s degree in economics. He was part of the college’s most winningest men’s soccer team in school history.
