The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women’s Soccer ID Camp is a 2-day identification camp from September 15 to September 16. All 15 to 18 years old girls are welcome to join in this event. This is a venue for prospective collegiate soccer players to showcase their skills and capture the attention of the university’s recruiting staff. Moreover, the camp will engage the participants in modern professional soccer training methods and drills. Aside from that, this event also includes preparation and nutrition topics. The Lenoir-Rhyne University women’s soccer coaching staff will be facilitating the camp themselves. Furthermore, this event will take place at the Moretz Sports – Athletic Complex. There are only 30 spots available.
Lenoir-Rhyne University is a private, coeducational, liberal arts university in Hickory, North Carolina. It is an affiliation of the North Carolina Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The university’s name is in honor of both Captain Walter Lenoir and Daniel E. Rhyne. In addition, the university as a whole has an accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. It is a top-tier educational institution which is 61st in Regional Universities South of the most recent Best Colleges rankings. It is also 36th in the Best Colleges for Veterans rankings. Currently, the university’s student population is around 2,300. This is through an acceptance rate of 70 percent while its student to faculty ratio is 13:1. In sports, Lenoir-Rhyne University is participating in the South Atlantic Conference of NCAA Division II as the Bears.
Lenoir-Rhyne University Women’s Soccer ID Camp Organizers
The Head Coach of the Lenoir-Rhyne University women’s soccer team is Gary Higgins. The season will be his 3rd year at the helm of the university’s women’s soccer program. Coach Higgins is the recipient of the 2016 South Atlantic Conference Coach Of The Year award. He is also a USSF National D coaching license holder. Then, the team’s Assistant Coach is Jasmin Dutton. Finally, completing the coaching staff is Brandon Costa, the Goalkeeper Coach.
