Join the Misericordia University Cougars Men’s Soccer Summer ID Clinic. It is a single-day event that will run from 9:00 AM until 4:00 PM on the 4th of August. It is going to take place at the leading-edge Manglesdorf Field which is on the Misericordia University campus. This summer soccer identification camp is open to all male soccer players in high school who desire to play at the college level. In addition, this high-level soccer camp will cover both the technical and tactical facets of the game. The program also includes a campus tour and a college recruiting talk. Furthermore, this event is advising all the participants to bring their own soccer ball, soccer apparels and protective gears. Running the the training program is the Misericordia University Cougars men’s soccer coaching staff and current players.

Leading the Misericordia University Cougars men’s soccer team is Head Coach Andy Loughnane, a native of Swoyersville, Pennsylvania. The 2018 season will be his second season at the helm of the Cougars men’s soccer program. He is a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry graduate from Caldwell University. Meanwhile, he completed his master’s degree in Biochemistry at the University of Scranton. He is currently a board member of the Back Mountain Youth Soccer Association. Ultimately, Coach Andy Loughnane is the 2016 MAC Freedom Coach of the Year awardee. This award comes after he led Misericordia University to a 12-5-3 record. While coaching Misericordia University Cougars men’s soccer, Coach Loughnane is also head coaching the Electric City Shock of the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL). He led the team to its first-ever NPSL playoff appearance. Then, the Misericordia University Cougars men’s soccer graduate assistant coach is Robert Brandell. He is the newest addition to the Cougars men’s soccer coaching staff. Coach Robert Brandell is a Cum Laude graduate of Saint Lawrence University with a bachelor’s degree in economics and environmental studies. He is a three-time all-conference selection during his college playing years.
