The Mount Holyoke College Women’s Soccer Intercultural Camp is a 4-day event that will run from August 7 until August 10. This open to all 7 years old up to high school senior girls. The camp is an ideal training for players who want to develop a strong foundation for the game while having fun. It is an opportunity to train under the supervision of a college coaching staff. In addition, the soccer camp will tackle both the technical and tactical facets of soccer. It will take place at the Kendall Athletic Complex Turf Field in Mount Holyoke College. Moreover, participants will receive a free camp t-shirt upon registration.
Mount Holyoke College, formerly Mount Holyoke Female Seminary. is a private, coeducational, liberal arts college, in South Hadley, Massachusetts. It is an academic institution that is only exclusive to women. It is part of the Seven Sisters colleges which are historically are colleges for women. The other 6 are the Vassar College, Wellesley College, Smith College, Radcliffe College, Bryn Mawr College, and Barnard College. Furthermore, Mount Holyoke College is one of the nation’s top colleges. In fact, it is 36th in National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 16th in the Best Undergraduate Teaching rankings and 50th in the Best Value Schools rankings. The college is currently serving around 2,200 undergraduate students with a 10:1 student to faculty ratio. Additionally, the Mount Holyoke College sports teams are competing in the New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference of NCAA Division III as the Lyons.
Mount Holyoke College Women’s Soccer Intercultural Camp Organizers
The Head Coach of the Mount Holyoke College women’s soccer team since 2007 is Kanae Haneishi. She is the former Smith College women’s soccer Assistant Coach. Then, the Lyons women’s soccer Assistant Coaches are Anthony Tranghese and Katie Dupuis. Coach Tranghese is at the same time the team’s Goalkeeper and Strength and Conditioning Coach. He is also the Recruiting Coordinator.
