The Northeast Elite ID Camp is a 4-day summer elite soccer camp targeted towards young male players between 9th-12th grade and graduating high school seniors, who are ambitious about playing soccer on the college level and wants to try out what it actually takes to compete on a collegiate level of soccer. The camp will take place at Colgate University, located in Hamilton, NY.
Colgate University is a university that fosters life-long experiences, friendships, and memories, with a beautiful surrounding nature and remarkable campus. The faculty has a 9:1 student-faculty ratio, so that they can reach their highest intellectual game with the close help from the award-winning faculty. Their mission is to provide the best possible interactions between the students and the faculty which should lead to a development of critical thinking, effective writing, diverse perspectives, and lifelong inquiry. Colgate is the home for 25 Division 1 athletics teams, 10 intramural sports, and 40 club sports. The athletes have a tradition of getting inspired to excellence both on and off the field where they deliver high achievements.
The camp staff consists of some of the most experienced top coaches in the country from both Division 1, 2 and 3 colleges. The coaches will be contacted before the start of the camp and are given the opportunity to evaluate each player first hand at the Northeast Elite ID Camp. During the camp, you will have the chance to be seen by some of the best college programs in the country and get interaction and guidance from the experienced staff. You will be participating in an extremely competitive environment where your skills within the game will be tested and pushed with a focus on individual improvement of each player with the use of individual skill instruction, tactical training, small sided situations, and 11 vs. 11 games. When you’ve completed the camp you will know what it takes to compete on a collegiate level.
You will have the pleasure of using some of the best facilities in the country while being in the camp. Colgate University has 4 grass practice fields, the all new, state-of-the-art, lit, synthetic soccer field, which lines the back rim of the athletic grounds. You will also be able to use the Colgate Men’s Soccer – Van Doren Stadium Field for All-Star games.
