Northeastern State University Women’s Soccer Elite Camp

The Northeastern State University Women’s Soccer Elite Camp is inviting all high school level female soccer players. This elite soccer camp is a 4-day training program specifically for players who want to play at the college level. It will run from July 9 to July 12. In addition, the camp’s goal is to replicate a college soccer playing and training experience. It includes technical and tactical sessions that will improve the player’s decision making under pressure. Goalkeepers will also have their special skills training sessions. Furthermore, the event will accommodate both residential and non-residential campers. It will take place at the DeLoache Soccer Field in Northeastern State University campus.

Northeastern State University, formerly Northeastern State College, is a public, coeducational university in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. It is the first institution of higher learning in the state of Oklahoma. It also has additional campuses in Muskogee and Broken Arrow. The university is a part of the Regional University System of Oklahoma. Moreover, Northeastern State University is offering 57 undergraduate and 23 graduate academic programs and it is using a semester-based academic calendar. Currently, the university has more or less 8,500 undergraduate and postgraduate students. This is with a 40 percent male and 60 percent female students gender distribution. The enrollment acceptance rate is 94 percent while the student to faculty ratio is 17:1. Additionally, Northeastern State University features 11 intercollegiate athletics teams in the Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association of NCAA Division II. They are the Riverhawks.

 

Northeastern State University Women’s Soccer Elite Camp Organizers

The Northeastern State University Riverhawks women’s soccer head coach is Chase Wooten. The -2018 season will be his 8th year at the helm of the university’s women’s soccer program. Coach Wooten is the 2015 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association Coach of the Year awardee. He is also the 2000 and the 2001 District Coach of the Year. Then, the Riverhawks women’s soccer graduate assistant coaches are Kaity O’Toole and Tahlor Layman. And finally, the Riverhawks student assistant coach is Madison Dobbs.
