Northern Michigan University Wildcats Men’s Soccer Recruit Camp

Come and join the Northern Michigan University Wildcats Men’s Soccer Recruit Camp. It is an advanced soccer training program that will run from the 25th of July until the 28th of July. This camp is especially for high school boys 15 to 18 years of age who are aspiring to take their game to the college level. This program is going to take place at the beautiful Northern Michigan University campus in Marquette, Michigan. Furthermore, the camp will cover both the technical and tactical facets of the game. Special training sessions are also in place for goalkeepers. In addition, this prospect day soccer camp is an opportunity to work with the Northern Michigan University Wildcats men’s soccer coaching staff.

Northern Michigan University (NMU), originally Northern State Normal School is a public, coeducational university in Marquette, Michigan. It is the largest university in the Upper Peninsula. Northern Michigan University comprises five colleges. Northern Michigan University Wildcats Men’s Soccer Recruit Camp Organizers

The head coach of the Northern Michigan University Wildcats men’s soccer team is David Poggi. He is at the helm of the university’s men’s soccer program since the 2015 season. Coach David Poggi is a bachelor’s degree in sociology graduate from the University of Oregon. It is also where he earned his master’s degree in physical education, athletic administration and sports psychology. Additionally, Coach David Poggi is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” coaching license holder. Prior to Northern Michigan University, Coach David Poggi was head coaching at Sewanee. He also has coaching stints at Loyola University New Orleans and Truman State University. Then, the Northern Michigan University Wildcats men’s soccer assistant coach is Jon Sandoval. Coach Jon Sandoval is the newest addition to the Wildcats men’s soccer program. He is both a bachelor’s degree in Psychology graduate and a master’s degree graduate from Western Illinois University. Prior to the Wildcats coaching staff, Coach Jon Sandoval was an assistant coach at St. Ambrose University. He also has a coaching stint at Western Illinois University.
