Join the Pomona Pitzer Sagehens Women’s Soccer Fall ID Camp. It will be on the 15th of October from 8:30 AM to 3:00 PM. It is inviting all 2018 up to 2021 high school graduating soccer players. In addition, the program is an ideal opportunity for outstanding players to showcase their skills in front of the colleges’ recruiting staffs. This 1-day clinic aims at improving both the technical and tactical capabilities of its participants. It also provides a feel on how it is like to train and compete at the elite collegiate level. There is also a session that will provide an insight on how it is like to be a Division III athlete-student.
Both Pomona College and Pitzer College are private, coeducational, liberal arts colleges in Claremont, California. Both colleges are sustaining academic excellence. Pomona College is 6th in National Liberal Arts Colleges, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 3rd in the Best Value Schools rankings. Meanwhile, Pitzer College is 33rd in the National Liberal Arts Colleges rankings and 62nd in the Best Value Schools rankings. Pomona College is accommodating 1,700 undergraduate students. On the other hand, Pitzer College has an undergraduate student population of around 1,100. The Pomona-Pitzer women’s soccer team is competing in the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference of NCAA Division III. Their nickname is Sagehens.

The head coach of the Pomona Pitzer Sagehens women’s soccer is Jen Scanlon. She is in her 13th season at the helm of the team’s coaching staff. Under her leadership, the Sagehens has already 3 SCIAC Regular Season Championship. The Sagehens has also an Elite 8 NCAA Tournament finish in 2016. Furthermore, Coach Scanlon is a Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year awardee. She is also a National Soccer Coaches Association of America Coach of the Year awardee. Then, the women’s soccer team’s assistant coaches are David Nolan, Ruben Martinez, and Michael O’Connor.
