Come and join the Radford University Highlanders Women’s Soccer Clinic. It will be on April 2 at the Dedmon Center and Cupp Stadium at Radford University campus. This soccer clinic is open for all 13 years old and older female soccer players. The camp is an ideal venue to develop technical and tactical soccer abilities. In addition, the training program will provide the participants an exposure to the competitive collegiate soccer environment. It also aims to provide personalized training attention to each participant. Furthermore, attendees will engage in competitive 5v5 and 11v11 matches. This program is set to start at 11:00 AM and end at 5:30 PM.
Radford University, originally State Normal and Industrial School for Women at Radford, is a public, coeducational university in Radford, Virginia. It is consisting of 6 undergraduate colleges and 1 graduate college. The undergraduate colleges are namely, the College of Humanities and Behavioral Sciences, the College of Business and Economics, the College of Education and Human Development, the Waldron College of Health and Human Services, the Artis College of Science and Technology, and the College of Visual and Performing Arts. Radford University Highlanders Women’s Soccer Clinic Organizers
The Radford University women’s soccer head coach since 1996 is Ben Sohrabi. He is a 3-time Big South Coach of the Year. Coach Ben Sohrabi is also a 2-time VaSID Coach of the Year. Under his guidance, the Highlanders women’s soccer has already 5 Big South Tournament Championships and 5 NCAA Tournament Appearances. Then, the Highlanders women’s soccer team assistant coach is Chris Barrett. Coach Barrett is with the coaching staff since the 2010 season.
