Join the Rhode Island College Anchormen Men’s Soccer Camp. It is a weeklong soccer training program from June 25 to June 29. It is open to all boys and girls 7 years up to 15 years old. Facilitating this camp is the Rhode Island College men’s soccer coaching staff itself. The Anchormen men’s soccer current players are going to provide help in running this event. The camp is an ideal opportunity to improve technical skills and understanding of the tactical aspects of the game. Participants will also have the opportunity to personally interact with the coaching staff and players. The experience will be fun and, at the same time, challenging.
Rhode Island College, Rhode Island College of Education, is a public, coeducational college in Providence, Rhode Island. It has an accreditation from the New England Association of Schools and Colleges. Its departments have also accreditations from their respective associations. Among these accreditations are from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education, and the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. Currently, Rhode Island College is accommodating around 7,500 undergraduate students. This is with an acceptance rate of 75 percent. The student to faculty ratio is 14:1. In addition, Rhode Island College fields 17 intercollegiate sports teams competing in the Little East Conference of NCAA Division III. Their official colors are burgundy, gold, and white. Rhode Island College Anchormen Men’s Soccer Camp Organizers
Head Coach John Mello is leading the Rhode Island College men’s soccer team. He is now in his 14th season at the helm of the Anchormen men’s soccer program. Under his guidance, the Rhode Island College men’s soccer has already a Little East Conference Tournament Title. Furthermore, Coach John Mello during his playing years is a soccer standout. In fact, he is a 4-time First Team All-Division member and a 2-time All-State selection. The Anchormen’s assistant coach is Dom Petrarca. Coach Dom is also a former prominent soccer player. He is the 2005 Rhode Island High School Gatorade Player of the Year.
