Founded in 1831 as the state’s first public college, the University of Alabama is dedicated to excellence in teaching, research and service. We provide a creative, nurturing campus environment where our students can become the best individuals possible, learn from the best and brightest faculty, and make a positive difference in the community, the state and the world.

Jerrod Roh

Jerrod Roh begins his second season with the Alabama soccer program in 2015. Along with his coaching duties as Defensive Coordinator — primarily working with goalkeepers and defensive strategies — Roh serves as the Recruiting Coordinator and is the Director of the newly launched Roll Tide Soccer Academy. Roh began his college coaching career at Western Carolina University, where he spent three seasons as an assistant coach (2001-03). There, he was part of the best conference season in program history also, helping the Catamounts capture the Southern Conference regular season championship in just their third year of existence in 2001.
Roh has coached six All-Americans, 19 All-Region, 31 All-Conference, and 100+ All-Academic honorees in his collegiate coaching career.
Roh earned a bachelor’s of science degree in secondary education from Kansas State University in 1995 and was a three-year starter for the Wildcats. Roh completed work on a master of business administration degree at Western Carolina in May 2004.

Roh has a USSF “A” Coaching License, a NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and a NSCAA Advanced National Goalkeeping Diploma.

The University of Alabama Soccer Stadium, Hank Crisp Indoor Field, and UA Campus Recreation Services provide world class facilities for soccer training and competition. UA coaching staff and players will be accompanied by other college coaches and players to provide a professional soccer environment and a transparent look into the world of college soccer.
