The Southern Wesleyan University Men’s Soccer Warrior Experience is a 1-day soccer clinic on the 17th of December. College recruitment discussion is part of the camp but it focuses on providing an authentic collegiate soccer training experience. Additionally, this camp is an excellent opportunity for aspiring athletes to present themselves as quality recruit. This event is an initiative of the Southern Wesleyan University men’s soccer coaching staff and its current players. It is a 12-hour program that starts at 8:30 AM and ends at 8:30 PM. It will take place at the Southern Wesleyan University campus. The whole experience will be enjoyable and inspirational.
Southern Wesleyan University, formerly Central Wesleyan College, is a private, coeducational, Christian university in Central, South Carolina. It is an affiliation of the Wesleyan Church. The university has a Southern Association of Colleges and Schools accreditation. Its School of Education has also an accreditation from the National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. And, its degree programs in music and music education has accreditation from the National Association of Schools of Music. Southern Wesleyan University is an institution that excels in providing quality education. Currently, it has around 1,500 undergraduate students and 400 postgraduate students. The university has a 62 percent acceptance rate. Its athletic teams, the Warriors, and Lady Warriors are competing in the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division II as well as in the National Christian College Athletic Association. The athletics teams identity colors are black, white, and blue.
Southern Wesleyan University Men’s Soccer Warrior Experience Organizers
Head Coach Garrett Bireline is leading the Southern Wesleyan University men’s soccer program since June 2016. He is a former assistant coach at Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis. He also has a previous assistant coaching stint at Wheaton College. Then, helping Head Coach Garrett Bireline are assistant coaches Phil Boyer, Palmer Dill, and Sam Rowden. The Warriors’ men’s soccer media materials manager is Matt Sikkenga. And finally, the men’s soccer team’s operations manager is Evan Bier.
