Top 100 Soccer Academy Girls and UMass ID Camps

Top 100 Soccer Academy Girls begins on July 16-19. The University of Massachusetts- Amherst will host of the camp for girls ages  12-18.

UMass has 21 NCAA Division I sports teams. Four of them won Atlantic 10 Championships in 2015–16, with women’s lacrosse advancing to the Elite Eight round of the 2016 NCAA Championship. Former Minutemen in the pros include All-American wide receiver Tajae Sharpe, who plays for the Tennessee Titans, and Conor Sheary, who won a Stanley Cup with the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The top 100 Soccer Academy Girls is a highly concentrated camp for female players who aspire to raise their level of play. Academy players will work on their technique, skill training, small sided matches and end the day with full sided match play. The camp will concluded on Wednesday with full field play on Rudd Field. Rudd Field is one of the finest NCAA Division I Natural Grass surfaces in New England and home to both the Men and Women varsity programs at UMass.

Ed Matz has been coaching at the NCAA Division I level for nearly 20 years. He has taken his team to the NCAA Tournament, won numerous conference titles on both the men’s and women’s side. He has been name Conference Coach of the Year 5 times. He has also coached in the Massachusetts State Olympic Development Program is found FC Massachusetts Soccer Club.

Academy Residents will reside on the University of Massachusetts campus. Two campers will be housed in one room and we try our best to accommodate roommate requests. Entry to the dorm is supervised 24 hours per day and coaches as well as U Mass players stay on each floor with the campers. All meals are served in the U Mass Dining Commons and our newly remodeled dining facilities. Academy players will have a wide choice of foods to select from that fit every desire and diet.
