The Transylvania University Pioneers Men’s Soccer Elite Residential Camp is for all high school boys who are looking to experience a college-like training environment. It is a four-day training program that will run from the 9th of July until the 12th of July. This soccer camp will be under the supervision of the Transylvania University Pioneers men’s soccer coaching staff. In addition, all the participants are requested to bring their own shin guards, soccer shoes, sunscreen, an alarm clock, and a water bottle. This event will also accommodate commuter campers. The registration fee is $380 for residential campers and $270 for commuter campers.

Leading the Transylvania University Pioneers men’s soccer team is Head Coach Matt Vogel. He is now entering his fifth season as the skipper of the Pioneers men’s soccer program. Coach Matt Vogel is a bachelor’s degree in exercise science and business administration graduate from Transylvania University. Meanwhile, he completed his master’s degree in Health Promotion and Kinesiology at the University of Kentucky. Ultimately, Coach Matt Vogel is the 2012 NSCAA Div. II KY State Coach of the Year and KHSAA High School Boys Small Schools Coach of the Year. He is also the 2011 Region II Boys Competitive Coach of the Year and Kentucky Boys Competitive Coach of the Year. Additionally, Coach Matt Vogel is a standout during his playing years. In fact, he is the 2008 2008 Transylvania Male Athlete of the Year. Then, the Transylvania University Pioneers men’s soccer assistant coach is John Greer. Coach John Greer is also entering his fifth season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in Physical and Health Education graduate from Asbury University. He is also a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “C” coaching license holder. And finally, Zach Meerkreebs is the goalkeeper coach.
