Trinity College Bantams Women’s Rising Soccer Academy

Come and join the Trinity College Bantams Women’s Rising Soccer Academy. It is a two-day event that will run from the 21st of July until the 22nd of July. This soccer training program is inviting all and any girls in grade 8 up to grade 12. The program is going to take place at Miss Porter’s School which is located in Farming, Connecticut. In addition, this event is not residential camp so registrants are responsible for their own lodging. The program will cover technical and tactical skills development drills and college recruiting talk. There will also be 8v8 and 11v11 games and a question and answer session with the camp staff. Overall, the experience will be fun but challenging.

Trinity College Bantams Women’s Rising Soccer Academy Organizers

Head Coach Michael Smith who hails from Hartford, Connecticut is leading the Trinity College Bantams women’s soccer team. He is now entering his 18th year at the helm of the Bantams women’s soccer program. Coach Michael Smith is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Central Connecticut State University. Currently, he is completing his master’s degree in sports administration at the United States Sports Academy. Coach Michael Smith is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “B” coaching license holder. He is also a National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) advanced national diploma holder. Under his leadership, the Bantams women’s soccer has already two NCAA Tournament appearances and nine NESCAC Tournament appearances. He is also working as a teacher at the college’s Athletic Department. Erin Fisher is the head coach of the Pomfret School girl’s varsity soccer team. At the same time, she is the school’s Director of Student Growth. Ultimately, Coach Erin Fisher guided the Pomfret School to a Women’s Western New England Preparatory School Soccer Association (WWNEPSSA) championship in . Additionally, Coach Erin Fisher is a bachelor’s degree graduate from Cornell University. She is also a master’s degree graduate from Columbia University. Finally, Coach Avi Dubnov is Miss Porter’s School’s Director of Athletics as well as Head Soccer Coach. He is the 2015 NSCAA 2015 Coach of the Year awardee.
