The University of Akron Residential and Commuter Soccer Camp is a 4-day camp from July 13 to July 16, . It is for 10 to 18 years old male soccer players. This will be an outstanding experience for players who aspires to play at the collegiate level. The camp will introduce advanced training sessions. There will be competitive small sided as well as 11v11 games. Goalkeepers will also go through a specific skill set training program. The camp is set to improve footwork, defense, diving, and passing skills. Likewise, it will also tackle the tactical, physical, and psychological facets of the game. Registrations come with a free camp t-shirt. In general. the camp will be a challenging yet fun experience. The event will take place in Akron Soccer Camp, Athletic Field House. A top-notch soccer facility.

The head coach of the Akron Zips men’s soccer team is Jared Embick. He is the team’s former associate head coach and recruiting coordinator. He is in the head coaching role since 2012. Coach Embick is the 2010 National Assistant Coach of the Year. Then, he is also the 2004 National Soccer Coaches Association of America Assistant Coach of the Year. The team’s goalkeeper coach is Ger Coppinger. T.J. Kolba is the team’s assistant coach and at the same time camp manager. And, Sherry Butler is the team’s administrative assistant.
