The University of California Santa Barbara Gauchos Men’s Soccer ID Camp is designed to provide the participants an insight on how it is to be a college soccer student-athlete. It includes intensive training sessions and competitive games. The program is the ideal venue to showcase exceptional soccer skills. In addition, this soccer identification camp is also going to cover college recruiting processes. It will be a two-day event that will fall on July 21 and July 22. It is going to take place at the scenic University of California, Santa Barbara campus. Moreover, this soccer camp is open to all boys in grade 9 up to grade 12. It will be under the supervision of the Gauchos men’s soccer coaching staff.

The head coach of the University of California, Santa Barbara Gauchos men’s soccer team is Tim Vom Steeg. He is now in his 20th season at the helm of the Gauchos men’s soccer program. Coach Tim Vom Steeg is a bachelor’s degree in history graduate and master’s degree graduate from UCSB. He is also a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) “A” coaching license holder. Ultimately, Coach Vom Steeg is a two-time National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a five-time Big West Conference Coach of the Year and an inductee into the California Community College Coaches Hall of Fame. Coach Tim Vom Steeg is now holding a very impressive overall coaching win-loss record of 248-113-46. Then, the UCSB Gauchos men’s soccer associate head coach is Greg Wilson, a native of Downingtown, Pennsylvania. Coach Greg Wilson is now in his eleventh season with the coaching staff. He is a bachelor’s degree in marketing graduate from the Philadelphia College of Textiles & Science. Meanwhile, he earned his master’s degree at Philadelphia University. The Gauchos assistant coach is Greg Curry. And finally, David Elias is the goalkeeping coach.
