University of Indianapolis Greyhounds Men’s Soccer ID Camp

The University of Indianapolis Greyhounds Men’s Soccer ID Camp is a full-day identification camp on the 9th of December. It is ideally for athletes with strong desire to play at the college level. This training program is an opportunity for the participants to train and receive an invaluable assessment from the University of Indianapolis men’s soccer coaching staff. Coaches from other top-notch universities and colleges will also help facilitate the program and provide further evaluation. In addition, this camp also aims to improve the player’s technical skills and tactical understanding. It will also set expectations about what a college student-athlete life really is. Check-in starts at 8:30 AM while the training camp will run from 9:00 AM until 5:30 PM. It will take place at the University of Indianapolis campus.

The University of Indianapolis, formerly Indiana Central College, is a private coeducational university in Indianapolis, Indiana. It is a member of the National Association of Independent Colleges and Universities and the Council of Independent Colleges. The university is also part of the Association of American Colleges and Universities. Moreover, the University of Indianapolis is one of the region’s top performing academic institution. It is 34th in Regional Universities Midwest, 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 21st in the Best Colleges for Veterans rankings. In athletics, the university supports 23 intercollegiate sports teams. They are competing in the Great Lakes Valley Conference, Division II of the National Collegiate Athletic Association. The athletes call themselves the Greyhounds. On the other hand, crimson and gray are their official colors.

 

University of Indianapolis Greyhounds Men’s Soccer ID Camp Organizers

The Greyhounds men’s soccer Head Coach is John Higgins. He is the 2013 Great Lakes Valley Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is also a member of the All-GLVC during his playing days. Then, the team’s Assistant Coaches are Shaun Mahoney and Rob Coonfield. Coach Coonfield is at the same time the Goalkeeper Coach. Ty Fidler is the team’s Graduate Assistant Coach. Finally, the team’s Student Assistant Coaches are Chris Jones and Evan Smith.
