University of Montevallo Women’s Soccer Winter ID Camp

The University of Montevallo Women’s Soccer Winter ID Camp is open to all 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2021 high school graduating girls. Its objective is to find prospective athletes to join the university’s women’s soccer college team. It is also an opportunity to experience a high-level developmental soccer training program. Moreover, the event aims to provide personalized training sessions to improve the player’s technical and tactical abilities. A thorough evaluation and assessment will also be given to each camper at the conclusion of the identification camp. In addition, the experience provides an insight on what it takes to be an elite college athlete. It will be at the Montevallo Soccer Fields.

The University of Montevallo is a public, coeducational, liberal arts university in Montevallo, Alabama. The university comprises 4 colleges namely, the College of Arts and Sciences, the College of Business, the College of Education, and the College of Fine Arts. It is offering more than 40 academic programs. Furthermore, the University of Montevallo is a member of the Council of Public Liberal Arts Colleges. It is one of the region’s best academic institutions. As a matter of fact, the University of Montevallo is 38th in Regional Universities South of the 2018 edition of Best Colleges rankings. It is also 13th in both the Best Value Schools and Top Public Schools. In athletics, the University of Montevallo features 18 college sports teams in the Gulf South Conference of NCAA Division II. The athletes’ nickname is Falcons and their identity colors are purple and gold.

 

University of Montevallo Women’s Soccer Winter ID Camp Organizers

The university women’s soccer Head Coach is Robert Lane. The season will be his 4th season at the helm of the women’s soccer program. Coach Robert Lane is the 2010 Conference Carolinas Coach of the Year awardee. Additionally, he is a Bachelor of Science Degree in political science graduate from East Carolina University. Then, the Falcons women’s soccer Assistant Coach is Jake Wyman. He is at the same time the Clarksville Soccer Club, Director of Coaching.
