University of Northwestern St. Paul Men’s Soccer ID Camp

The University of Northwestern St. Paul Men’s Soccer ID Camp is a 2-day camp from July 13 to July 14, . It invites all 2018-19 high school graduate male soccer players. The event is to provide players an experience of what it is like to train and play soccer at a collegiate level. It is ideal for outstanding players who dreams of playing at the collegiate level. It will develop the camper’s technical and tactical abilities. Physical and mental preparations are also part of the training program. The camp is an initiative of the University of Northwestern men’s soccer coaching staff. There are only 26 available spots for this program. Thus, registrations will be on a first come first serve basis.

The University of Northwestern St. Paul is a private Christian university in  Roseville, Minnesota. It is a member of the American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education. It is a member of the National Association of Evangelicals as well as the Association of Christian Schools International. The university is 40th in the Regional Universities Midwest, rankings. Currently, if accommodates around 3,400 students. The faculty to student ratio is 14 is to 1. Moreover, the university has 19 intercollegiate sports teams. They are participating in the Upper Midwest Athletic Conference of NCAA Division 3. They call themselves the Eagles. Furthermore, the university’s colors are purple and gold. The head coach of the Eagles men’s soccer team is Greg Wheaton. He is in the head coaching role since 2000. Coach Wheaton is the owner of the International School of Soccer Excellence. At the same time, he is also the technical director of the North Suburban Soccer Association. Then, the team’s assistant coach is Brad Wildman. Finally, completing the coaching staff is Richard Appleby. He is the men’s soccer team graduate assistant coach.
