University of Pittsburgh Men’s Soccer Elite Prospect Camp

The University of Pittsburgh Men’s Soccer Elite Prospect Camp is a 3-day soccer identification camp from July 19 until July 21. This training program commits to providing an enjoyable and encouraging training environment. Its objective is to give the attendees a leading-edge training program that will develop both their technical skills and tactical knowledge. In addition, this elite prospect camp includes sessions for college recruitment procedures. It will be under the supervision of the University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer coaching staff who will provide an assessment at the end of the camp. Moreover, this program is open to all 10 to 18 years old boys. The camp will accommodate both residential and commuter participants.

The University of Pittsburgh, originally Pittsburgh Academy, is a state-related research university. It is a member of the Commonwealth System of Higher Education. It is also a member of the Association of American Universities. Currently, it accommodates around 28,600 students. The university is 68th in the US News and World Repost, National Universities rankings. Then, it is 4th Forbes national rankings. And, 79th in Times Global rankings. The University of Pittsburgh sponsors a total of 14 intercollegiate athletic teams. The university athletic teams are known as the known as the Panthers. Its identity colors are blue and gold. They are competing in the Atlantic Coast Conference of NCAA Division I.

 

University of Pittsburgh Men’s Soccer Elite Prospect Camp Organizers

Head Coach Jay Vidovich, a Detroit, Michigan native, is leading the University of Pittsburgh men’s soccer team since December of 2015. H is a 5-time Atlantic Coast Conference Coach of the Year awardee. Coach Jay Vidovich is also a 2-time NSCAA National Coach of the Year and an NSCAA South Region Coach of the Year awardee. Additionally, Coach Vidovich is the 2008 Walt Chyzowych Award recipient. Then, the Panthers men’s soccer assistant coaches are Michael Behonick and Rich Costanzo. Lukas Petersen is the volunteer assistant coach. And finally, Kelsey Muchnok is the team’s administrative assistant.
