2017 Texas A&M University-Commerce Elite Soccer Camp

The 2017 Texas A&M University-Commerce Elite Soccer Camp 13-year-old girls and older an opportunity for high-level developmental soccer training camp. The camp’s goal is to provide personalized training sessions to improve their technical and tactical understanding of the game. Also, there will be a thorough evaluation and assessment provided to each camper. The camp will also provide an insight on what a college athlete life is about. In essence, the camp will be a challenging but fun experience. This is a 2-day camp that will take place from July 10 to July 11, 2017. It will be at Lion Soccer Field in Texas A&M University – Commerce campus. This camp is only available for 20 field players and 4 goalkeepers.

Texas A&M University-Commerce is a public research state university. It is the 2nd largest university member of the Texas A&M University System. It offers a total of 144 undergraduate, masters and doctoral degrees. The university is Tier 2 in the National Universities, 2017 edition of Best Colleges rankings. And, it also 326th in the Business Programs rankings. Currently, the university has around 12,400 undergraduate and graduate students. In athletics, the university sponsors 12 intercollegiate varsity teams. Their nickname is Lions. Then, their identity colors are blue and gold. They are competing in the Lone Star Conference of NCAA Division 2. The Lions women’s soccer team have already 4 LSC Tournament Championships.


2017 Texas A&M University-Commerce Elite Soccer Camp Organizers

The university women’s soccer head coach is Neil Piper. He is the team’s head coach since 1998. Coach Piper is a 2-time Lone Star Conference Coach of the Year awardee. He is a member of the Top 20 Division 2 winningest active coaches. As a player, Coach Neil Piper 1993 All-Big Ten First Team member. Then, the Lions assistant coaches are Paul Burns and Jeff Posival. Coach Burns is a United States Soccer Federation “A” license holder. While Jeff Posival is also the team’s goalkeeper coach. Coach Jeff Posival is the co-founder of the Destiny Soccer Club, too.
